Privacy and cookies

1. Who processes your data

2. What data we collect

Browsing data. The site's server automatically records IP address, browser, page visited, date and time. This data keeps the site running and protects it.

Data you send us. Through the contact form or by email we receive your first name, last name, email address and the text of your message.

3. Why we use it

To reply to your request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To protect the site from spam and attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To show YouTube and Vimeo videos and the Google Maps map. This happens only if you accept it in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling. We do not take automated decisions about you.

4. Who receives the data

Hostinger International Ltd, Larnaca, Cyprus: hosts the site.

Automattic Inc., USA: through the Akismet service it checks whether a form message is spam. It keeps this data for two weeks to 90 days.

Google: runs our Gmail inbox. With your consent it also provides the YouTube videos and the map.

Vimeo: provides some videos, only with your consent.

We do not sell or pass on your data to anyone.

5. Data outside the European Union

Automattic, Google and Vimeo are based in the United States. The transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission on 10 July 2023, or on the Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need to reply and follow up the collaboration, for no more than 24 months after the last contact.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, to receive it in a readable format and to object to the processing. You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. We reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority: www.garanteprivacy.it.

8. Do you have to give us your data?

No. Without an email address, however, we cannot reply to you.

9. Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies, needed to make it work and to remember your cookie choice. These cookies do not require consent.

YouTube and Vimeo videos and the Google Maps map may set third-party cookies. We load them only after you consent in the banner. We do not use analytics or profiling cookies.
