Urban art festivals

From the 167 neighbourhood of Lecce to the heart of the Balkans and the north-east of Poland, 167/B Street takes street art beyond local borders. We build relationships between artists, communities and institutions in international settings. Every project away from home is a different experience of adapting, listening and real cultural exchange.

A model that travels

Our way of making festivals was born in the 167 neighbourhood of Lecce, but it is designed to adapt to any setting. We never arrive with a ready-made format: every city and every neighbourhood has its own history, its own walls and its own communities. Our work always starts with listening: to residents, to local institutions and to the spaces themselves.

In Tirana, with MurAL Fest (2018 and 2019), we worked with Dekor Tirana and the city institutions to transform façades in the Albanian capital, involving international artists and local communities. In Augustów, Poland, we brought our experience to a completely different setting, where the landscape and the memory of the place became part of the work.

What we bring

Artistic curation and selection of international artists, technical and logistical coordination (walls, equipment, materials, permits), participatory workshops with schools and communities, communication and documentation of the project. Above all: ten years of experience in building trust between artists, citizens and local authorities.
