Street Art per Tutti

Urban art has no age, asks for no experience and leaves no one out…

Street art is a language anyone can use. In our workshops you do not need to know how to draw or to have ever held a brush. All you need is the wish to put your hands on a wall and leave something of your own.

We work with children from age 3, teenagers, adults, older people and people in vulnerable situations. In urban and rural settings, in schools, reception centres, squares and prisons. The format changes, the principle does not: everyone can take part, everyone leaves a mark.

Who the workshops are for

From age 3 up With the youngest there is no structure, only freedom. Colours, brushstrokes, shapes: everyone expresses whatever they want. The children get messy, have fun and leave a mark on the world. When the work dries, we paint a frame around their creations: in an instant, what looked like colourful chaos becomes a painting.

Teenagers Stencil, projection, acrylic painting. The wall becomes a space to say something: about their neighbourhood, about how they feel, about how they see the world. The process is collective, the result is permanent.

Adults and communities Open workshops, no booking, no requirements. Anyone passing by can stop and contribute. Urban art is public by definition: it belongs to those who look at it and to those who make it.

Groups in vulnerable situations Migrants, refugees, people in prison, young people at risk of exclusion. Street art does not ask for a CV. The wall leaves no one out.

How a workshop works

Our workshops adapt to the setting, the group and the time available. They can last 2 hours or 7 sessions. They can take place in a classroom, a school yard or a square.

The techniques we use: acrylic painting with brushes (accessible to everyone), spray stencils, projection and tracing, masking tape for geometric shapes.

In every case, everyone puts their hands on the wall. The result does not have to be perfect: it has to be authentic.

Where we have worked

Schools in Lecce and Salento, Reception centres, Borgo San Nicola prison, Lecce, Neighbourhood squares and parks, Urban festivals in Italy and abroad

The settings we work in

Over the years we have taken our street art workshops to very different places and settings. Every space has its own rules, every group has its own pace, and we adapt every time.

Schools From nursery schools to secondary schools. Theory in the classroom, then everyone on the wall. The works stay in the school: corridors, courtyards, façades. A permanent mark left by the students in the place they live every day.

Nurseries and pre-schools With the youngest children the workshop takes a completely different shape. No pattern to follow, no picture to copy. Just colours, brushes and total freedom. The children get messy, explore and leave instinctive traces, and those traces become art.

Vocational training centres Settings where young people have often had difficult experiences with traditional school. Street art works because it looks like nothing they already know: no marks, no judgement, and a visible, concrete result at the end.

Reception centres We work with migrants and refugees in programmes of several sessions. The workshop becomes a moment of real encounter, in a language that needs no words. The painted walls stay in the spaces where these people live every day: a presence, a signature, a piece of identity.

Prisons In 2014 and 2015 we worked at Borgo San Nicola prison in Lecce, as part of the project Storie d’Amore e Libertà. The women prisoners painted a collective mural in the exercise yard: a Frida Kahlo, a symbol of women's freedom and resistance. A grey, anonymous space turned into a place of expression and dignity.

Public spaces and neighbourhoods Squares, parks, small pitches, neighbourhood walls. Workshops open to anyone passing by: no booking, no requirements. Anyone can stop, pick up a brush and contribute. What remains belongs to everyone.
