Laboratorio dedicato all’arte nel cuore dalla 167 B di Lecce. Fulcro in continua mutazione, costituisce da oltre 10 anni un reale motore di ricerca e sperimentazione dell’arte urbana, muovendosi fra le crepe e gli intonaci della vita comune. In collaborazione con numerosi artisti, operatori culturali, collettivi artistici, affina nuove concezioni dell’abitare, ed attraverso l’utilizzo di nuovi spazi e linguaggi, accompagna l’evoluzione sociale e geografica dei luoghi in cui opera.

Is a collective, exhibition space and an ever-changing urban laboratory dedicated to enhancing the aesthetic and
community of the 167 B neighborhood.  For over 10 years the laboratory has been a real research and experimentation of urban art, moving between cracks and plaster of common life. In collaboration with many artists, cultural operators invent new concepts of living in urban spaces. Through the use of new languages accompanies the social and geographical evolution of the places where it operates. We admire the work that is dedicated to human need. We continued research in the art the human relationship, conveying the desire for growth, respect and equality.

Independent artists that work in the field of graffiti and freestyling. Day by day they re-discover themselves revolutionizing their artistic and personal characters. They work individually and together with the group Street Art South Italy. Together they gave life to 167 / B street (laboratory / exhibition space in continuous mutation) located in the suburb of Lecce. The work in progress to open the city to art, according to contemporary trends and experiments.

 Chekos’art – Born in 1977 in Lecce, South Italy. A graphic artist, muralist and street artist.He works in the field of urban art and freestyling. He has been creating street art for about 20 years. He is experimenting mainly with stencil but also with collage, drawing, video installations. He truly enjoys painting in open spaces. His murals may be seen in the streets of Italy, Poland, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Spain, China, Indonesia, Macedonia, Albania and more. He contributed to many festivals, collective exhibitions and artistic projects. He is the main initiator and founder of the ‘Street Art South Italy‘ – a free movement of street artists from South Italy and other parts of the world.

Lo spazio il “167B Street” dedicato all’arte partendo dalla periferia – la 167 B di Lecce,  noto quartiere popolare che costeggia la statale che porta a San Cataldo . Qui  nasce l’idea di un nuovo centro espositivo in continua mutazione, all’interno del quale si alterneranno diversi artisti….  un work in progress per aprire la città all’arte,  al contemporaneo seguendo tendenze e sperimentazioni.

Poesia D’Assalto

Dal 2010 attivo nella pubblicazione dei propri testi in strada, di giorno, sui muri.  “Poesia D’Assalto” nasce con l’intento di diffondere la poesia tra le vie, tra i passanti in corsa, a gocce di vernice. Poesia che s’immerge nella quotidianità e ritrova il suo spazio, riqualifica di strade spente e animi persi. Dal 2013 inizia a diffondere i propri testi fuori dai contesti regionali partecipando a iniziative rivolte al sociale e riqualificazioni urbane. Inserito tra i poeti di strada invitati a partecipare a tutte le edizioni del “Festival Internazionale della Poesia di Strada”, iniziativa volta a promuovere la diffusione di poesia attraverso diverse metodologie.
