This summer, with the support of the Italian Institue of Culture in Dublin, Chekos participated in the Waterford Walls International Street Art Festival where he painted the large scale mural with the title MISS FAIRY.
The heart of Ireland is contained in its folklore and fairy tales that inspired Chekos to create his mural during Ireland’s largest International Street Art Festival WATERFORD WALLS

Some days before the festival in collaboration with Cristina Ciampaglione, Chekos attended a mini-residency at Italian Institute of culture in Dublin where he painted a marvellous canvas – a portrait of the luminary literate Italo Calvino to celebrate the centenary of his birth. This work now takes part of a mini collection of all-Italian contemporary art in the heart of Dublin.
